Tutorial - Layout Node Markers

This brief tutorial shows how to change the appearance of node markers in the Layout area, and demonstrates why you might do so.

With some nodes imported into the Layout area, click the node marker toggle at the bottom left of the window.

The nodes will change to displaying with smaller bubbles. The node name also will be replaced with the node number.

Why toggle the appearance of node markers?

In the example above, apart from viewing the node numbers, there is little to be gained from changing to a smaller node marker.

However, if you are using a small scale plan to orientate your nodes, large bubbles could quickly become unwieldy. They may overlap and obscure each other.

The small node markers allow more nodes to be located in the same given space.
